On Monday December 27 at the City Council dealt with the budget by 2011, resulting adopted by 23 affirmative votes and negative feedback DC-ARI Block.
Among the arguments for rejection raised by Councilman Luis Cancel, who had no justification by the ruling party, were:
Ø Increased 230% of expenditure allocated to the Unit Superintendent, who went from $ 1,500,000 to $ 5,000,000
Ø The increase of 140% for Institutional Relations reaching para el 2011 la suma de $ 23.300.000, con inversiones en Turismo de $ 10.230.000 y Comunicaciones Institucionales por $ 7.780.000, incluyéndose un monto de casi $ 5.000.000 en Publicidad

People who helped me make this concert and those who always believed and shared my vision of the evolving national music. I am writing to inform you quickly, we thought to see each other this weekend in any of the concerts of the country which was unfortunately postponed 3 concerts scheduled for this weekend.
FESTIVAL SPEAKER (POSTPONED)
Date originally scheduled July 31
This being organized by us, again we face a problem, this time with the place that for reasons beyond the organization will not be available on the 31st of July. We know the reasons for the place and is really comprehensive and very much regret having to postpone the show, but we've shown that we could go out with heads held high for this inconvenience, and all those who stayed pending our Festival SPEAKER sincerest apologies soon The new date we are more surprises than advertised.

TRUE PAGAN MAYHEM FEST IV (POSTPONED)
date originally scheduled August 1
Lamenteblemente this was the first to be postponed, because this Latin American tour that began in Mexico had to be rescheduled, which have not know, but when we post it safe. We were again waiting to see Treateth Zarkasmo and a concert by international bands, all of our support for this pair of bands that are my favorites.
Tentative date: 28 or August 29 (UPDATE: CANCELED)
CENTRAL AMERICAN TOUR MARDUK (POSTPONED)

Just hours after announcing the postponement of VBRT Pagan Fest IV, it was announced the postponement of the Central American tour of the Swedish band MARDUK, which had a date scheduled for the day Friday July 30 in Guatemala and 31 in Honduras with Silent Poetry.
Unfortunately due to problems with the band Visa American was unable to travel, and will shortly announce the date. Just as data, this is the production company that would bring bands like Cadaveria and Averse Sefira, canceled two dates in time. Hopefully this concert if given.
Tentative date: August 8, 2010 (UPDATE: DATE INDEFINITELY)

began by comment about an event that will be in August in the interior of the country, specifically in the lands of Coban, Alta Verapaz .
The concert is being organized by the band of Black Metal Bacab , who live in Coban and also (to paraphrase) are the inspiration and philosophy of the lyrics by the mythical nature and forests surrounding the area. Here

"For the first time an event metal held in a nature reserve like the "National Park of Victoria · one of the most important natural parks of Guatemala and one of the 5 largest natural parks in Latin America located on the shores of a city. Bacab Location has found the inspiration for the production of their 2 demos and hence the name ¨ ¨ The Mythical Forest mythical forest, inspired by the majestic forest surrounded by a lot of trees and a beautiful lake (cover of The Mythical forest demo) . This event comes after the Bacab need to play in their own land (first time) and make an offering to this beautiful forest.

This event open tight security and prohibits any weapons, drugs, and things that harm the environment because it is a nature reserve.

we are about to end post-stage dementia and also point to say goodbye to the blog! but we're on a mission accomplished and a paper on how it all happened, a document which hopefully one day play some mind and start all to add more pages to the history of music in Guatemala.
Now, to say goodbye, I'll leave you with a concert schedule for the coming weeks, starting with one more, that we do in this case a mini-festival with bands of various streams of Rock and metal, mostly bands that we like and think are a good alternative for those who enjoy the different proposals, in addition to some that we have presented in this blog. Melodic heavy proposals and suggestions, but always very good suggestions, excellent way to spend this weekend, as this concert is 1 day before the Mayhem, and also again we see Treateth and Zarkasmo of New :

Mayhem in Guatemala [August 1]
Hello everyone! as many already know, the day on August 1 has been one of the seminal bands of the genre of Black Metal from Norway Mayhem has been , accompanied be a band from Mexico, 1 band of El Salvador and Guatemalan 6 bands, so it's a big metal festival and will be here in our city of Guatemala. Here

remember that among the national bands are Treateth and Zarkasmo (Xela) I hope that by now know very well thanks to all the information you have posted in this blog.
Interestingly is the debut of both bands at a concert of international stature . Prior had concerts scheduled in 2010 but unfortunately were canceled; Zarkasmo was elected in April as the opening act for grindcore pioneers Napalm Death and New York death metal band Suffocation , which unfortunately was canceled concert, as well as Treateth was scheduled opening act for the visit of the Italian band Cadaveria, another concert and could not be.
is expected for this show we visit people in neighboring Central American countries, so it will be an excellent showcase for local bands that show their proposal, now in a much bigger stage.

Finally, great news for all who want invest part of their bond metal concert. It announced that as of September 24 day at La Bodeguita del Centro (tbc) visit us at Guatemala's band German Thrash Metal Destruction , thus completing the trident German Thrash (Sodom, Kreator, Destruction), and True Pagan Fest organizers are offering a package of 2 entries: 1 for Mayhem and 1 to Destruction for the price of Q400 .-
So you know, it is highly recommended to attend the True Pagan Fest IV with the Norwegian band Mayhem from El Salvador the Spider band from the band Mexico Mourtoria , and Guatemala bands: False Prophet, Necropsy, Cellular, Surgery, and Zarkasmo Treateth .
